Founder of Indulgence Catering, Rebecca Farrington, is passionate about food.
She originally ran a successful art gallery in St Ives making jewellery before she realised that food was her real passion. She then studied Culinary Arts at Cornwall College before going on to complete a Hospitality Management Degree at Plymouth University. Later on she returned to Cornwall College to lecture on their degree programme in Hospitality Management.
She has run Poolside Indulgence at the Jubilee Pool for many years and has a loyal following of fans who love the freshly prepared food that she has been producing at the café (particularly the cakes!). Rebecca is committed to using local seasonal produce and ingredients wherever possible.
Robin Turner brings along his wealth of knowledge of the food industry, particularly the fishing industry. Robin has been a fish merchant working out of the port of Newlyn for over forty years and still works closely with local fisherman and shellfish businesses.
He has lectured for Rick Steins school of cookery on fish provenance and is regularly asked to do food demonstrations at food fairs and events. He has appeared on several cookery programmes alongside chefs such as Giorgio Locatelli and Gino Di Campo.
